A green airspace coming to Embry-Riddle in the near future
Over the next two and a half years, researchers at Embry-Riddle will be busy designing the way for a green future in the Daytona area. Led by associate professor of aerospace engineering Dr. Richard Anderson, who doubles as the chief investigator of the research project, a team of dedicated engineers will be testing a green, eco-friendly biofuel for ERAU's fleet of 40 Cessna 172 Skyhawks as a replacement for aviation gasoline.…

NASA tests continue
Many students have likely wondered what it is like to work in microgravity. Seven Embry-Riddle students will be conducting an experiment on fuel slosh in microgravity through the NASA Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunities Program this June on a NASA C-9 aircraft designed to simulate microgravity during a series of parabolic maneuvers.…
