It's that time of year again, when the temperatures get "cooler," the days get shorter and the your Student Government Association host their College Forums. Each semester the members of the Student Representative Board (SRB) are required to host a forum for each of the four colleges, Aviation, Business, Engineering and Arts & Sciences. The point of these forums are for students like you to come out and learn more about your college and degree programs, meet faculty, hear from industry professionals and of course get some free food and prizes. As forums begin to grow up both in attendance and planning, they have become better and better. Last year for example, the College of Aviation forum, called "SOARING: Tower to Sky," had more than 300 attend their forum where students were treated to free food provided by Moe's and won prizes like free flight time, CRJ time, tours of Orlando Int'l Control Tower and jetBlue Facility and lots more! Currently, the representatives from each of the colleges are beginning the planning for their forums and more information should be released very soon with specific times and dates for each forum. If you have any ideas of what you would like to happen at your college forum, contact one of your SGA Representatives by visiting our newly redesigned website at: http://sga.db.erau.edu/ or by visiting the SGA Office in the Student Center. Remember to keep watching for more information about YOUR College Forum coming soon!
