SGA launches Students First

The Student Government Association's (SGA) main goal is to help enhance the quality of students' life by actively seeking and acting upon students' concerns. The same can be said for the Division of Student Affairs (SA). Starting this Fall, the SGA and the Division of SA are working together to enhance campus life and services to our students in order to make the university experience better, so together they have initiated the program "Students First." This
program is designed to grant up to five faculty members, staff members or departments a monthly award for their hard work and dedication to students. So every month the students can go online through the SGA webpage and fill out a simple form to nominate any faculty members, staff members or departments that they believe have done an outstanding job throughout the month. At the end of the month, votes will be counted and the top five nominees will receive an award from the Division of SA and the SGA. The "Students First" program is designed to showcase faculty members, staff members and departments that best serve ERAU students, as well as providing the students the opportunity to acknowledge them for their hard work and great services.
In order to nominate the deserving faculty members, staff members or departments follow the following steps:
• Go to the SGA webpage at: sga.db.erau.edu/
• Then go to "Students First Survey" under the "Speak Up" drop down menu
• Then fill out up to five forms For any additional questions contact the SGA office.
