Commuter Lounge needs a new name

The Student Government Association will be holding a contest this week starting Tuesday Feb. 2 to name the new commuter lounge on campus. The commuter lounge is located on the first floor of the Student Center Annex.
The commuter lounge will be a great addition to our campus. It will have couches, televisions, a laptop bar, pool tables, group study space, and more. The commuter lounge is already open to students, even as we are adding more details to it.
At the moment, the commuter lounge is currently just called the "Commuter Lounge." The Student Government Association would like to see a more creative name used for the space, and who better to come up with the name than the student body.
The contest will be used to gain valuable names and ideas from the students. Then a few members of the student government will sit down and determine the official name. The student who suggests the winning name will receive recognition, and article in The Avion.
To submit ideas, there will be a form to fill out in the SGA office next to the coffee machine. Then the forms can be dropped into the Student Suggestion box, located next to the coffee machine. We will also have suggestion forms to fill out if any student has ideas about what to include in the lounge. I listed a few of the amenities above, but there is always room for improvement!
The contest will be open from Feb. 2 to Feb. 9. I urge you to help name this lounge and give any input to make this a functional and enjoyable space.
