Is your club registered?
Angeline Ranieri
Issue date: 2/9/10 Section: SGA
The Student Government Association would like to remind all student organizations who presented their budget request to the Student Finance Board (SFB) to make sure their organization is registered with the Department of Student Activities.
Per the SFB budget guidelines, SGA funding is not available for groups that are not recognized by Student Activities. If your organization did not receive an allocation letter in your club mailbox, chances are your group is not registered. Immediate action is required by your organization's officers to ensure that your allocation is not revoked.
Organizations must turn in the proper paperwork to Student Activities each semester to be considered a registered club or organization. To make sure your organization is registered and is in good standing, contact the Department of Student Activities at 386-226-6039, or stop by their office located in the Student Center room 106.
All SGA allocations will be rescinded if your organization is not registered by Friday, March 5, 2010 by 5:00 p.m.
